Sit Up Design & Music has been established in the digital and graphic arts for over fifteen years. My name is Lou, and during this time I've been a designer, musician and performer involved extensively in the arts. These disciplines have met frequently in the worlds of education and young people, and it's this experience, enthusiasm and engagement that I bring to any project I am involved with.
I'm based in East London where I work with a freelance hand picked team of illustrators, copywriters, printers, photographers, coders, musicians and filmmakers. I can work one to one with you on your project or source additional colleagues to come on board, whether it's a website for an individual or a brand for an organisation.
Clients vary from freelance workers and community projects to large businesses, youth services, opera companies, fashion houses, theatre companies, schools and academies, recording studios, technology projects, photographers, radio stations, local authorities, charities and the education sector.
I run workshops with stakeholders on branding and promotion, teach graphic design and songwriting and have helped create accredited courses in the arts, including originating a university course in web design for small business. Projects have achieved national and international media coverage from the BBC to New Yorks Wall Street Journal.
Work varies greatly, from helping young women build a promotional campaign to alert each other to the threats of grooming, to designing projection footage for the world premier of an opera at a prestigious London festival. But what it has in common is a passionate and experienced approach to achieving just want you require.
Get in touch with me to chat about your requirements, whatever the scale or budget.
